Sarah was raised in the West Kootenays in a tiny town nestled between rugged peaks and alpine lakes called New Denver BC.

This is where her love for nature and the outdoors blossomed and where she taught herself how to draw and create.

Her designs are inspired by nature, colour, and the wild, wacky and weird parts of life. 
Since she was young she dreamed of creating a small business that revolved around her creative side. Art and the outdoors have been the two main constants in her life.

and thus, KactusBlue was resurrected from her mums successful 90s polyester hat company to the thriving creative studio that it is.
